Last night, Holly Bowling achieved that dream by performing a full set with Phil Lesh, Ross James and Eric DiBerardino at the renowned Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael, CA.Bowling is well known for her solo piano renditions of Phish and Grateful Dead songs, and is set to release her Better Left Unsung album next month, which captures Bowling’s arrangements of Grateful Dead music. Her tour in support of the future release brought her to Terrapin Crossroads, where she was scheduled for a couple of performances last night.Before the show, it was announced that Lesh & co would be joining for the performance; Bowling naturally said she felt “like a little kid on Christmas Eve right now.”Watch the full set below, which sees Bowling, Lesh & more cover Grateful Dead classics like “Friend Of The Devil” and “Althea” at the outset.
